NATO’s cybersecurity assessment ensures that systems meet the alliance’s cybersecurity requirements and enable secure information processing. NATO defines technical and administrative cybersecurity requirements for so-called CIS systems (AC/322-D/0048-REV3): that is:
- For NATO information systems and
- For national information systems that handle NATO classified information
In addition, NATO sets requirements for the integration of systems (AC/322-D/0030-REV5).
